Guidelines for
Community Circles of YEW

We offer the following guidelines to assist YEW Community Circles in their development and growth and in their presentation(s) to the public.
To begin we ask that YEW Community Circles, although independent organizations, agree to represent the mission of Yraceburu EarthWisdom accurately in all communication: written, verbal and electronic.

YEW Mission Statement:

We are dedicated to evolutional earth consciousness and community.  Guided by the tlish diyan philosophy of matriarch Maria Yraceburu, we co-created a connection and eco-spiritual lifestyle for 5th World Humans.
We believe that Coming Together – rooted in the timeless wisdom of indigenous earth philosophies, epitomizing a truly all-encompassing attitude – is essential for the co-creation, and existence of world reality as peace.  By touching the earth and honoring tradition, of individual and communal, of sustainability and responsibility, the extended, traditional system of the Yraceburu Family seeks to motivate a dynamic Web of Life engagement with the greatest potential for self actualization and fulfillment, a lifestyle for the ongoing tradition of humans evolving into humane.

And, we offer the following excerpt from the YEW Vision as a guide to the ongoing conduct of a Community Group:

. . . our vision is to offer spiritual and cultural education programs based on earth traditions and values. We are recognized for our capacity to run quality programs that promote the reconnection to earth and humanity, with the development of healthy, sustainable lifestyles for all.

Membership in YEW –

We ask that all members of all Community Circles be encouraged to become family members of YEW by participating in events.
We also request that the Community Croup, or at least one member of the group, become a Co-Creator. Members qualify for opportunities and information not available to the general population.

Communications within the network –

In order to increase effectiveness, deepen inquiries, and bring all Community Circle Coordinators and members up to date on YEW happenings, we request the following:
Participation by Coordinators in any special conference calls organized by YEW, or YEW Beams of Support.
Dissemination of information coming directly from YEW, or YEW Beams of Support Representatives, especially when requested.
Participation by Community Circle Coordinators and/or appointed members of the group’s leadership team in any orientation program provided annually.

Community Circle Websites –

YEW Community Circle websites should primarily be about the Community Circle and its activities and have a prominent link to YEW web site (www.yraceburu.org) on the home page.
Some Community Groups refer to group affiliates, sponsors, practitioners, vendors, etc. on their website. These references should be in a separate section of the website apart from the home page – e.g. listings of people or organizations that show their promotional information. If such references appear on the website, we ask that there be a clear statement on this (these) page(s) that no endorsement by YEW is given or implied.
We ask that if Community Circle websites contain paid ads that those advertisers’ products and/or services generally support YEW's mission statement.
If donations are solicited on the website, it must be clear that proceeds are for the use of the Community Circle and a link to the Yraceburu EarthWisdom web site donation page should be included as well.
Community Circle websites will be subject to review and approval by the YEW Beams of Support.

Member Contact Information –
So that we can maintain good relations with all interested parties, contact information for Community Circle members collected through the web site or in live gatherings (phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, etc.) must not be used for any activities other than official YEW Community Circle activities nor shared with anyone other than YEW or its designates.

YEW Elders –
YEW has created alliances with Elder WisdomKeepers. Wherever possible, nurturing these alliances at the local level will be appreciated.

Gaining and Keeping Recognition by YEW –
YEW reserves the right to remove a Community Circle and/or a Coordinator’s name from the official YEW Web Directory or deny a request to become a new Coordinator if we have reason to believe that doing so is in the best interest of our members, other YEW Community Circles, or YEW in general.
