>PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Getting a Bird's Eye View of Life Diversity
This is a traditional Summer Solstice Gathering with Elders Storyteller Circles, silent sitting and trance dance moments, k'e talks and rites of passage. Suitable for all ages.

How much present are you in life? Most of us spend more time worrying about the future, replaying the past, or lost in illusion, than experiencing what Spirit and Earth are offering to us right now. The Eagle Dance is where we directly become intimate with our higher consciousness — touched by beauty and intimacy, while learning through the soaring dance how to open our hearts. Looking — or Yo'ii — vision is the practice described by Indigenous Peoples for developing wisdom, compassion, and heart peace by learning to be aware of what connections are occurring in the present moment. The Naiiees was called The Coming Out. The primary aim of this rite is to acknowledge life transition, and the youth of our community that embody this completely, with the highest happiness.

This 6 days are a traditional Eagle Dance & Naiiees (HolyWay) camp with the intent of opening to the true happiness and peace that is available with connection.

Please note that none of the tuition goes to any of the facilitators, who are supported instead by voluntary dana (gifting/donations).

Drum Groups Welcome - 2 days of dancing.

Maria & Lynda Yraceburu, Phil Chavez, and other elders will be in attendence.
