The Dance by Robert Mirabel
EarthKeeping
According
to my grandfather, a traditional Apache HolyMan, this land has an
animate spirit, whether we can see it or touch it, or believe in it.
Personally, there have been so many instances of communication with the
wildlife, and the land, that I cannot deny a relationship with this
presence.
What’s an Earthkeeper?
We are guardians of life and the land that gives us life. We are
concerned about environmental issues and work to protect our sacred
Changing Mother Earth, from watching our ways of consummerism so we do
no harm, to our cyclic ceremonies that breath respect, honoring and
love into our landscape with each dance step forward in the procession,
feeding the Sacred Mother.
There is no life without earth. We love her and that's why we are
committed EarthKeepers, as were the ancestors that led the way.
