Yraceburu EarthWisdom & Taa-naash-kaa-da Sanctuary
Since
1972, the Yraceburu Family has brought Voices of Elders Wisdom to the
public to share Life Ways born of the earth. Now we've expanded
the program, and are pleased to announce that beginning March 11, 2012,
we will offer 6 such programs. The program has been designed to
improve the understanding of a way of living... a way of being at One
with All that happens around us. Together, we bridge the gap and
improve the knowledge. Our Elders are the completion of our
strong circle. Registration per program is $20 for weeknight
(6:30-9:00 pm) programs, and $40 for weekend (11 am - 3 pm)
programs. All proceeds to go Elder Facilitators. For their gift,
we honor their sustainability.
We are currently looking for a location to hold these programs in the
Santa Fe area. Week night programs include a potluck dinner to build

Earth and Tradition from the Ancestors of the Future
Schools, groups, organizations, play an integral part in the Elders
Wisdom experience.
As a potential host, you'd be responsible for various planning tasks
associated with your program.
You also work directly with our staff to create a custom program that
meets your group’s needs.
What can my group do, and
for how long?
YEW runs custom program in schools, groups, circles, institutions and
organizations 6 times a year, with a plan to expansion. Trips can last
anywhere from 3 1/2 hours for a weeknight program to 5 hours during a
weekend program. All custom Elders Wisdom programs are held at your
site, unless other specifications are requested.
So what exactly are my
responsibilities?
As host, you provide continuity throughout the Elders Wisdom Program.
You assist with pre-program registrations and information discertation.
You have the option to hold an open - public may attend - or closed -
only your group - program. You will receive a list of suggestions
to help ease your preparation when your group has signed up for a
program. We are happy to assist you in this process. We will also
present you with an etiquette guideline. Some Traditional Elders
have special needs in how they are approached and address to mantain
the integrity of their lineage. We thank you, and those of your
circle for your undersanding.
Compensation?
We believe we need to honor the wisdom being presented. So many of our
Elders struggle from day to day just to live. They are looking
for places to disseminate their wisdom, but the task of daily living
makes them unable to be free to do so when an opportunity to do
so. By compensating for their time, we help sustain them in an
ancient way, where once all were taken care of for the gift they
gave. What you choose to give you can discuss for appropriateness
when we talk about yor program. Our Elders are exceptionally
generous with their time, and reasonable.
