Staff Positions

Camp Cook

Job Description:  Experienced cook for Traditional Camps  in Northeast New Mexico. Cook will also clean, maintain the grocery inventory list, and perform other duties necessary for operation of the business.
General Employment Info
Successful applicants Must Be: Honest, mature, dependable, self motivated, clean and presentable, drug free, non-alcoholic, enjoy people, be a knowledgeable and experienced outdoor cooking situations, and should be able to coordinate volunteer teams working in trade for attendance.

Most employees have other occupations and work for Taa-naash-kaa-da Sanctuary anywhere from one week to three months each year. Folks of all ages have proven to be valuable assets to the operation. What's important is that you are friendly and professional with the group participants, perform the many requirements of the job, and represent Taa-naash-kaa-da Sanctuary well.

Compensation
$100 per Day which includes  Wages and participation in activities. Its common to work 20 or more days per month during a busy season. Your performance will determine longevity and wage increases.

Instructors

If you are passionate about your field of study and love sharing that knowledge with others, we welcome your program proposal. Please email the following:

- A short description of the class you would like to offer. Give us an idea of the types of activities students would participate in, techniques they would learn, preferred class length (number of days), etc.
- Your resume, preferably showing some teaching experience, even in an informal setting
- Photos of your work, if possible (snapshots are fine)
