A
hundred years ago there were two great teachers, Naylin Lage, and her
uncle, the Apache Dreamer, Nochaydelklinne. Nochaydelklinne
upheld rituals of connection and life affirmation. He taught
patience, reverence of ancestrs, and the structure and power of the
dream.
Naylin
Lage, ever on the move in the Sierra Madre, encouraged
flexibility, encouraged compassion, and affirmed the Path of
Beauty. Walking with Coyote means to live compassionately,
intuitively, flowing with the present moment. Nochaydelklinne
taught us structure; Naylin Lage freed us to be our true selves.
One of Grandpa Ten Bear's stories said that once Nochaydelklinne
visited his mother, and was mystified by her power. It was not
rational, not predictable. Nochaydelklinne understood the power
of the wingged, the finned, 4-legged. But he said, :How have you
harnessed the power of Kalina, the Sun Wolf? I know Naylin Lage
and today I see she is a coyote."
She was considered an expert in curing blindness, smallpox, fever,
infertility, jaundice, menstrual ailmenst and illness in general. She
called upon the Ga'an (mountain spirits) and nohwizá'yé
(ancestral spirits) for assistance.
"Great
grandmother came to me. I saw her looking back at me from the
mirror. I saw me through her eyes. Things are different
now. Prayers and images pound in my head. I live in her
vision. Sometimes I can't be around a lot chaos, or be
touched. I understand now what the Elders said when I was
ten. That's been a long time ago. Now, I share times of her
wisdom, to hear her dialogue. Through her encompassing vision
from the other side, people find hope and heal."

Diyi
is the power of the coyote, the trickster self, removing old
assumptions, beliefs, and judgments that weigh us down.
Today
the power of Grandmother Naylin Lage is strong. Messages to
conform, to please, to capitulate are being exposed for what they truly
are. Walking with coyote, keeps you from loosing yourself.
"The spirits of Grandmother Naylin and White Eagle sharing wisdom,
insights and guidance collectively is an event not to be missed." -

"So
much information shared from such a sweet, darling, loving entity from
the past." - Rita M
"Being with Grandma Naylin and Maria was a powerful experience. So
powerful it almost knocked me off the soft, literally! It was a
joyful
experience and I look forward to again spending time with them." -
