Phil Chavez, aka Water Dancer,  is a popular storyteller. With beauty, wisdom and humor, he shares both traditional and contemporary stories with anyone that will sit still long enough.

Phil has shared the Vision of Taa-naash-kaa-da – the Great Coming Together – and the dream of Yraceburu EarthWisdom with organizations, churches, and groups that gather in one place for the distribution of higher knowledge.

Combining his vast store of knowledge as family historian and his life experience growing up in New Mexico, Phil also speaks on the subjects of Apache & Puebloan culture and spirituality, often taken tours through local ruins and sacred sites.

Phil's  wisdom and knowledge about all areas of life were handed down to him by his grandfather.  His stories delight all children, whether wide-eyed preschoolers or Elders at the Senior's Centers. He is always asked to come back.
