Love EarthMother! Spring WorkshopNew Format! Six Person EarthSpirit Photography Workshop Jemez Mountains, New Mexico April 2-3 - 10 am - 5 pm daily ![]() This workshop is designed for individuals looking to engage in spiritual communion with Earth Mother - those who contemplate the orbs of light that appear in their photos and have a grasp of the ramifications created by faces seen in the natural landscapes or who have other photographic impressions of spirit manifestation. There will be some time devoted to verbal instruction, but the main focus of the workshop is using the ruins and landscape of New Mexico as an in-field-classroom. There will be a strong emphasis on light and shadow work. This workshop also offers instruction in time-honored ritualistic preparation and altered perception techniques along with instruction in being at one with nature and flowing. Workshop Location Description An (season) visit to New Mexico offers unparalleled creative opportunities for the EarthSpirit photographer. Lynda Yraceburu has spend countless hours over her career exploring Sacred Sites with life partner, Native American traditionalist, Maria Yraceburu. Join our We love Earth Mother PhotoWalk Workshop and take advantage of Lynda's vast knowledge of earthspirit photography and extensive experience capturing images of the Ancients. The unique history for which New Mexico is known provides some of the most striking ruins and geological features found in one small area. They are also varied, with red rock canyons and high mountain pine forests. The bold premise of this land combine with the soft, warm colors of sunrises and sunsets to provide a mix of mysticism and awe. In all, the experience is spectacular. Historical stories silhouetted against the landscape creates striking and memorable imagery. Capturing the many emotions and surprises evoked during this workshop is an experience any higher conscious photographer would enjoy. WEATHER We can expect wide vriations each day. New Mexico is notorious for changing weather patterns in a heartbeat. In general during this time of the year you can expect temperatures from the low -- at night in the desert and -- during the day.
