Apprenticeship
Through our work as large
animal assisted therapists and earthkeepers, we have come to realize
that the future in the hands of the next generation. We learned our
livestock skills from years of living and learning from family.
By establishing our apprenticeship program, we hope to help future
livestock ranchers to be successful in their operations, thereby
insuring the survival of land and animals we have worked in relation to.
Our apprenticeship program will begin in the Fall 2012. We have had
many successes when we were stationed in southern California, and are
encouraged by the steady number of applicants interested in working
with us to learn about animal assisted therapies and sustainable
livestock maintenance.
