Support an Event - Host Benefit Event

Each year, Sanctuary hosts a series of fundraising events. These events are wonderful opportunities for Sanctuary friends to connect with the magic and mission of Taa-naash-kaa-da. For more information on tickets and sponsorship packages for Sanctuary-hosted events, please contact us at info@yraceburu.org

Winter Solstice - "Dream Retreat" - December 19-20th, all night
The Winter Solstice Dream Retreat brings together donors and Sanctuary families for private Group Dreaming Rituals at the Sanctuary featuring healing moments for all! Preceeding the retreat, sponsors are invited to enjoy a private time charting-themed circle. Adults only for this one!

Spring Equinox - "Water Harvest" -  March 20th
Each year, Taa-naash-kaa-da gathers new and longtime Sanctuary friends to honor the lneage teachings of the founding family of Yraceburu. Gathering first at the Sanctuary for preparation, this event features a short program highlighting the purpose behind the day's activities, followed by a carvan to the source of 4 Rivers for the annual harvest. An intimate day for event sponsors at the Sanctuary precedes the event.

Summer Solstice - "Wheel Dance" - June 21st
The Wheel Dance is an exciting and inspiring event that takes place at the Sanctuary and includes a potluck lunch, trance dancing in nature featuring Grandmother Drum Tuma'chi, and activities for all ages.

Fall Equinox - "Offering to the ThunderBeings" - September 23rd
Completes the Ceremony begun on the Spring Equinox, this day brings Sanctuary friends together for a day of food, exploration and earthwisdom teacings.  Held at Chaco Canyon each year, this event features offering preparations followed by hike through the ruins, placing offerings at specific traditional stations of BlessingWays. Included in the day is storytelling from traditional WisdomKeepers that hold the knowledge of Past, present and future within the cyclic ceremonies and sacred sites.

Appreciation Dinner - October 15th
The Appreciation Dinner is our largest fundraiser of the year and is the only fundraiser held in Santa Fe. This event features an evening of comraderie, dinner, and a silent auction. When the dinner ends the aucition has closed, and donors find out who has won such items such as healing sessions and extraordinarily beautiful art peices. The evening concludes with guests enjoy a performance by featured musician(s).
