Fire Ceremony Reunion – Saturday, December 2nd
A winter tradition for the San Diego Community, our Fire Ceremony event is inspired by Uncle Woody & Aunty Kalei's first fire ceremony on the Harmonic Convergence in 1987 at Mission Bay. Our story is about family that has fed the spirit of San Diego by chanting and drumming for a special Winter's Dream. On the first Saturday of each December, we gather on Vacation Isle, and then feed the sacred HeartFire with life arrows and drumming, dancing and chanting. We have a short Talking Circle before and after to get to know one another better, and reconnect with old friends
This time has been full of peace, beauty, releasing, healing, receiving, resting. I truly feel I am rebirthing myself into a new life.
