History
The Yraceburu Story
Our history takes us as far back as the Yraceburu family lineage founded in Apache tlish diyan.  We trace our mission from the time of
Nochaydelklinne the Apache Dreamer who foretold this time, to his neice Naylin Lage a healer of extraordinary capabilities, to her son Apache Juan Ten Bears Yraceburu a HolyOne who spoke eloquently for peace, and finally to his granddaughter Maria Yraceburu.

All of this will continue to her children and those of us who have gathered in the continuance of a life philosophy that is inclusive of All Our Relations.

Elders Advisory Council
We saw firsthand the positive impact a traditional indigenous approach to life had on those who were fortunate enough to experience it. Finding a way to ensure that individuals had access to this special connection became our objective. We pooled the enthusiasm and resources in our extended family, and what began as an idea became a wonderful reality when the pilot program launched in 1972. Following years of programing, we finally recruited our Beams of Support... what our Board of Directors prefer to be called, and applied to become a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Yraceburu EarthWisdom is completely run by volunteers, with Apache diiyin Maria Yraceburu acting as Spiritual Director. Since our humble beginning, as Yraceburu EarthWisdom, we have continued to evolve, and remained true to the family's original belief: All people, regardless of background, can benefit from connection to Earth.
