Mission
Yraceburu EarthWisdom is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based at Taa-naash-kaa Sanctuary Earth Wisdom Learning Center. Our mission is to give individuals an experiential education immersed in the traditional ways regenerated for contemporary life in an effort to promote personal growth, environmental awareness, community involvement, and co-operative pursuit among people with diverse backgrounds.

We are proud of our many partnerships. Our relationship with Indigenous Elders is especially beneficial in helping us carry out our mission.

We believe in the power of co-creation. Our living life belief system is to inspire curiosity in the individual, the community, and the natural world. Through our program, you participate fully in every aspect of your experience, from Talking Circles to setting up camps to presenting projects.

Vision

We've seem firsthand the positive impact the earth can have on those who were fortunate enough to experience it. Finding a way to ensure that everyone has access to this special connection is our objective. We have pooled our enthusiasm and resources in the Yraceburu EarthWisdom eco-spiritual community, and what began as an idea became a wonderful reality and now a Sanctuary manifest. Since its humble beginning over 40 years ago, as Two Lights Medicine Wheel Society, YEW has continued to evolve, we have remained true to our original belief: All people, regardless of background, can benefit from time with Mom

Community participants are truly the heart of our organization. There are countless stories of past participants who have chosen their lifework based on their experience as part of our programs. Some teach for us while others volunteer their time. We look forward to seeing what exciting opportunities the future holds for you and for our organization.
