CONNECT TO THE EARTH
YRACEBURU RANCH
Lightning flashes during monsoon season, reminding me of that fateful day in 2004 when I was struck by lighting. We have frost in winter that looks like snow, and the Winds of Change swirl the energies above us, creating a vortex of peace and calm: "This for our community of family to call home."
The history of the ranch we call home began with the local 'Ipay and Kumeyaay tribes. Our old growth oak and grinding stone filled megalyths provided a gathering ground for acorn annually. We sit just off Highway 67 in east San Diego, just below "Moon Rocks Mountain" – Mt Woodson. We moved onto our 8 acres of leased private property (appointments required) February 1, 2017, when we returned after 9 years in New Mexico. We believe that our life work was confirmed, when our mystical connection made us aware of the property – within 24 hours we had signed the lease and never once looked inside the house – it was all about the land and the frequency.
At this very sacred place, imbued with healing power, the Spirit of Mother Earth can be found. We invite you to explore, plan a visit, and get to know All Our Relations that make up this family home of transformation, harmony and rebirth.

Yracébûrû RanchDISCOVER | THINGS HAPPENING AT THE RANCH
Beautiful. Mystical. Healing. The Yraceburu Ranch has mesmerized community members for years. In 2017, the shimas… Holy Auntys… Maria and Linda Yracébûrû returned to San Diego after living in New Mexico for 9 years, and discovered a small ranch behind Mt. Woods fertile in spirit. Now, the Ranch is a community gathering space, working equine therapy center and its spiritually woven atmosphere woven by the shimas, Guardians of an old way of being relationship with the land, holds the light of love for many of us. Known as “The Fairy Grotto,” this ceremonial section of the Ranch is a magical and space where connection to the Earth is felt, vision producing and inspirational. The Butterfly Garden, carries on the task of educating others to the plight of the Monarch, while provided support to the Monarchs as well as other indigenous butterflies of the region. And within the boundaries of the Ranch 3 sacred circles spin every day of the year, is it any wonder that as a Community of the Heart, we consider the Ranch the family homestead… like going to Grandma’s once a year |

BUTTERFLY GARDEN When the winds blow in from the Santa Anas, we often are amazed at how the Monarchs always seem to find their way home, but they do, and we protect them, and provide for them. When the time comes for the season of Monarchs (May 1 - October 1) closes, we gather and celebrate the future of their return. REALM OF THE LITTLE ONES Light cascades through the treetops at Aunty Kalei's Memorial Garden, homeland to the dolee'atee branch of Little Ones. Around the Spring Equinox. we gather annually for water ceremonies and connect to our second home, the 'aina of the Big Island of Hawaii, and Miracle, the 100 year old banyon tree. TASHINA'S LUSH DOMAIN Caves along the creek flow into spiraling megalith stones, located in the Fairy Grotto, and sacred to tlish diyan prophecy story, breathe ground fog and prompt visitors to inquire about the resident Dragon. Our community fire pit is located on the sandbar, and in alignment with fire safety, this is where we meet to perform Rites of Passage |
History
OUR CONNECTION TO THE FIRST PEOPLE
Mt. Woodson forms a western landmark for Ramona, outside San Diego in the mountains to the east. Known to the 'Iipay as Ewiiy Hellya ("moon rocks"), Maria's Uncle Woody, one of the founders of Yracébûrû EarthWisdom, was of the 'Iipay on his father's side, and Apache on his mother's side. This prominent peak hold sacred value to the 'Iipay people. It was from here that the mythical creature Toyaipa stomed the earth on his way from the desert to the coast, leaving the dent on the left side of the mountain. The early settlers came to know the mountain as Stony Mountain, and finally as Mt. Woodson. ARCHIE MOORE'S SALT MINE TRAINING CAMP By ED ZIERALSKI (San Diego Tribute) JUNE 22, 2013 7 PM PT Address: The foot of Mt. Woodson Archie Moore fought from 1936 until 1963 and battled the top names in boxing at the time, including Rocky Marciano, Floyd Patterson and Muhammad Ali. He won 185 of his 219 bouts before retiring at 49 years old after losing to Ali. FINISH READING ARTICLE >> YRACEBURU EARTHWISDOM The shimas moved to the Ranch in February 2017. Since that time they have listen, watched, and through guidance from the land itself through spiritual and permaculture techniques, developed spaces of sacred energy for the community to enjoy and benefit from. |
