Okay, admittable, we pull this as soon as we see it long enough to take care of. It becomes little stickers that get in our dog's long hair and they are a pain to get out. They also grab onto you as you walk by, leaving a blanket of stickers next to impossible to get out of your clothing.
Beyond that, they are great. Our ancestors used them for things like kidney & gall stones, and epilepsy. Washing a skin tumor with a tea made of cleavers mixed with oatmeal 3-4 times a day will help over 2-3 months. It's good for bed wetting and weight loss. All and all, it's a pretty handy little plant!
