Helping Hooves Equine Therapy
Hooves Equine therapy is a venture of cross-species relationships utilized in the empowerment of our children, women and families, utilizing Yracébûrû practices and the rites of passages left by our ancestors.
Helping Hooves Equine Therapy is responding to the need by the greater community to fill a void created by symptoms of PTSD. Indigeous people, in generations past, learned to live harmoniously with the natural world around them because it nurtured them, fed them and empowered them. Our families understood healing forms and their intimate relationship with others in Nature. This knowledge of knowing that you are related to something outside of what you can control despite its antitheses quality is, in fact, the healing grace that people seek. This does not replace therapy; it is a multispecies connection that each individual who comes, learns to handle themselves in terms of BIG VOICE, compassion, self esteem and handling oneself in the face of larger forces. YEW looks forward to producing more circles, sessions and training in the near future as an outcome of this project.
Helping Hooves Equine Therapy is supported in part by the Connect to the Earth Children's Project.
