HolyWay Days
diyini'jii is a living and valid tradition of life celebration, comparable to a river with a long course. It brings freshness, richness, and abundance. There is support for our endeavors. The importance of diyini'jii in contemporary times is the same as in times long gone: Community members come together to combine their energies to manifest the greatness of their love in the physical world. We carry the knowledge, and through the dance we find our way to healing. The songs, prayers, and legends are beautiful words. We live the esoteric spiritual principles of the Ancestors - changing time, timeless values - and today we are able to manifest the powers of that spirit through our stories and celebrations. - Legends & Prophecies of the Quero Apache, Bear & Co., 2002

For centuries traditional indigenous families have held the sacred HolyWay ceremonies in trust and safekeeping. These cyclic diyini'jii... HolyWay Days.. provide a foundation for alignment - a web most carefully designed. Following life patterns that blend sacred ritual and earth teachings, the diyini'jii carried forward by the Yracébûrû family are essential practices that "keep the world re-turning." We prepare earth alignment rituals.
Apache New Year Ancestral Fire*November 8, 2026 • 6-9 pm
Relax and gaze at the stars while participating in ancient & modern rituals and listening to Native legends about stars, ancestors & evolutional self. "Before the Time, Creator gave each of us a job. This Sacred Purpose was to come as one of the most remarkable achievements of human remembrance. It would change everything and involved finding and fixing in mind the connection between human, earth, and spirit. By the time we enter the 5th World Coming Together almost all of humanity will have healed hundreds of generations of injustice and oral traditions tell of evolution, migrations, and travels across this immense space and time." Seed Blessings Ceremony*February 20, 2027 • 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
In a Sacred Way we come together to lay the ground work for abundance in this year. We make offering to the Sacred Mother, presenting our gifts as we pray and gather the soil before the warmth begins. We ceremonially plant our Three Sisters (corn, beans and squash), dancing them in the center of our seedling to be in the center of our circle, sending vibrant lifeforce. Carrying our precious cargo home to be place neart the warmth of our hearth, we feed them love daily, watching them grow, to be the first plant placed in the garden in April after last frost. These plants reflect our spiritual health and our direct support line to the planet. |
What to Bring: camp chair, water bottle, appropriate dress for outside & indoor activities.
Included: materials to make offering, pots, three sisters seeds, and lunch. Children under 13 free |
Ceremony is the choreographic presentation of energy. Singing, dancing, feasting, and gifting are all a part of the proceedings. But other parts of the ceremony - the reclamation of self through ritual and story, the passing of ancient wisdom to the next generation of practitioners, the honoring and eliciting Earth Mother in life giving ways like Blessing Seeds and Harvest - these are sacred. The very nature of their existence is rooted deep in the past.
Water Harvest & Equinox Healing*March 20, 2026 • 10:00 am -4:00 pm
Every year the Cyclic Ceremonies of Earth are observed by the Yraceburu Family. Maria Yraceburu tracks the planetary timing, then aligns the presentation, and then things start happening… This day actually begans Spring, when the water born from a spring, is harvested today! This water will be used to nurture the seedlings we will plant next month after the last freeze, and ceremonial ritual throughout the year. We will place the stones, chant our procession and commitment to the health of the Water, and receive our blessings of new life growth. And when the last offering is placed – don't be surprised, the situation gets sensational – as we are shown the power we actually carry! |
What to Bring: camp chair, water bottle, drums, rattles, appropriate dress for outside activities.
Included: stones & corn meal for spring offering and lunch |

Summer Solstice Ceremonial Camp
June 18-20, 2026
Summer Solstice Ceremonial Camp is a retreat that offers a chance to look deeply at your life and purpose and to re-experience your connection to the Earth and all of Life. Based on ancient rites of passage found in the original teachings of all cultures, this camp draws on traditional Indigenous teachings with today’s realities and challenges. People come to Camp who are ready to make deep shifts in their lives, to mark an important change or passage in their lives, or who are looking for renewed guidance and inspiration. Profound friendships are forged at this program and people come from an enormous range of backgrounds and experience. |
Participants renew their relationship with the Earth, and learn about the medicines, plants and animals of the area. We teach you the basic skills you need to spend time safely on the land, preparing you for a mini Vision Quest. After the 24 hour quest, you will have an opportunity to participate in traditional ceremonies, such as the Wheel Dance.
We have danced the New World since the time of the Apache Dreamer, Nochaydelklinne, 150 years ago, individually and in community circle. The sacred intent of the dance is to elicit direct connection with Spirit in all its manifestations. They dance the overwhelming powers of the elements; the mysterious circle of earth, sky and moon. Through dance, our ancestors knew the Mysterious Powers and developed intuitive and instinctive connections that made it possible to live harmoniously and thrive.
The Summer Solstice Wheel Dance is a prophetic phenomenon, a testament to its power and authenticity. Through this dance we believe that our Ancestors of this Land, Native and non, unite with us in the visions that guide us into the New World, giving us courage and compassion.
The Wheel Dance draws upon our sacred earth lineage, and the thread of such intimate knowledge imprinted on our genetics over vast numbers of generations. The rhythm of music has drawn us into Spirit since our childhood. As the body moves, Spirit comes; when Spirit comes, Wisdom and Healing also enter. Beyond the Dream, everything becomes clear.
The Wheel Dance Experience
Through a combination of focused intention, breathing and movement to rhythmic music, participants can experience a semi-trance state and be transported into an alternate reality.
The first 90 minutes includes an Introductory Talking Circle, discussion and orientation to the Dance, followed by an extended dance on Sha'shizi... the day the Sun Stands Still. Following the dance, the group gathers in the circle for optional sharing and to get "grounded" before leaving.

diyini'jii have changed a little in the evolutional needs of these contemporary times. They are a flowing of ever changing energies, woven in the tight cyclic structure of the Earth's magnetic alignment. This is displayed in our scheduling. At the heart of this choice is the belief that Changing Mother Earth is sacred and the source of our lives. Life works better when we flow in harmony with her energies. We carry out our annual cycles of life with these celebrations, blessings, prayers and respect, so all times in evolution are provided for.
