Nestled in a tranquil setting behind Mt. Woodson in Ramona is the Yraceburu Ranch, a place of magic for those who desire an intimate healing experience in community away from the demands and expectations of a busy or sedentary life schedule.
Our 2-day Clinic for Womyn: Haquini Power, at the Yraceburu Ranch, rests in sunny, old growth oak grotto, maintained by the magical auntys – shimas – Maria and Linda Yraceburu, our guardians. Our intention is to help womyn cultivate caring attitudes and actions towards others and the natural world, and through extension, learning to care and nurture self and others. Our 2 days together will address recognition of inner feelings witin self, interpersonal perception and awareness, modeling of empathic behavior, empathic responding to self and others, practice in intentional dialog with others (mirroring, validation and empathy), focus on similiarities between self and others, role-taking or role-playing, and practice in imagining and perceiving another's perspective. Our Clinic begins integration of the traits of a mature empathetic orientation. Our approach to healing is through sensitivity to another; respect for each other's right to be understood on her own terms, reluctance to all-good or bad conceptualization of individuals and comfort with the gray in-between state that characterizes most lives.

When womyn come together to connect and still our storms and be with horses, we step into respect and empathy for self and others. Our activities will build cooperation, empathy, and a sense of self worth.
This Horse Wisdom has been handed down through the Apache and Rom ancestry of the shimas for thousands of years. At Yraceburu Ranch we're all about the Relationships Created & Nurtured. |

Why the Name?
"I was after a name that was not only powerful, but also spoke of empowerment. The very reverberation of the word hah - quinn - knee evokes the sensation of empowerment as it is said. The name also expresses the transmission from horse to womyn the right to be. So I chose Haquini Power for our 2-day Clinic for Womyn." – Maria Yraceburu, 'tsanti
