Maria's back stands hidden among the trunks of Miracle the 100 year old banyon tree in Hawaii we did ceremony with for over 15 years.  I wanted a selective view that included Maria entering the focal point of the vortex that lies at the center of this massive tree for the composition.

The landscape at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado, looks reasonably magnificient normally.  But when I look to various sections of the photograph, the shapes and shadows of the rock craigs brings even stronger emotions, and more selective memories.

A few locals enjoying the Waipio River are an interesting composition.  But the ecstasy of the river valley on the big island further strengthens the sense of Ancestral Spirit.  I found this picture allowed me to become engulfed in the horizon – as if standing right in the river between endless ocean and the river of possibilities.

A baby great horned owl sitting in an old growth oak is an interesting photo.  The ability to diktashoon… hear what Earth Mother would have me know… allowed our close proximity–and relationship was created in a moment of respect.
