We have faith, that Grandfather, our guiding light, would be proud to see that the teachings he shared with me, have not only endured but thrived.
We suspect, too, that he would be honored to know that we attribute our success, in no small part, to the many who have joined our worldwide extended family, and that he would hasten to remind all of us that our greatest success was only possible by co-creation, and to the lineages of our united ancestors.
Indeed, this is a timeless and universal moment in human evolution: the earth changes, and we change with her. This defines our purpose to create life by living life.
In the nomadic time that Grandpa grew up in, these practices would have seemed esoteric at best. Most people could not conceive of the prophecies of these times.
This is not to say that there were no visionaries, shamans or ritualists. In fact, there were many. Grandfather was from the same time frame as such notables as Black Elk, Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce. Numerous books have been written in interpretation of these inspirational “Crazies.”
Determined to bring humanity back into alignment and relationship with the Sacred Parents – Earth and Spirit – he taught me “time charting” – a living life belief system founded in cycles, mythology and prophecy. He gave me an orderly premise for life and evolution so efficient that it has only changed with the cyclic energies of the Mother Earth.
Today, we, as the continuance, face challenges not much different than Grandfather experienced, although on a different historical plane.
Our temptation in proximity to the chaos at hand, and the calling we answer to make life a better place for all, are why we are eternally grateful for the foundation of truth he forged for us, and why we continue to seek the guidance inspired by the ancestry of the tlish diyan.
