I felt the light since I was a child. I knew things I "shouldn't know". I tried to stop making other people uncomfortable and be normal but it only led to my deep depression. When I was around 27 I had a Peregrine falcon crash through my bedroom window. In West Hollywood. That started me on a determined quest that culminated in a spiritual experience that left me wide open to my guides. I went through a challenging period of regaining my balance. As a child, I was expected to be a perfect little girl, bury my feelings and silence my voice. As an adult, I maintained a false façade of perfection, internalized my stress and suppressed my feelings. I felt like a fraud and was deeply critical of myself; it took a toll on me mentally, emotionally and physically. By age 50, I was deeply unhappy, angry, resentful, unhealthy and burned out.
