Study & Membership
Expectations and options
To take part in the SpiralDancing Community, you must be online so that you can participate in the monthly Talking Circles via ZOOM, the monthly diad/clan/family meeting, and sessions with Maria. And, you are expected to attend a five-day residential retreat at the end of each Circle of the Wheel, which focus on the healingwork and hands-on-practices. Depending on your intention for becoming a member, you may opt to become certified/ordained through Yraceburu EarthWisdom as one of four types of Spiritual Practitioner.
In our basic study wheel format, new members work 1:1 with more senior members on new concepts and in Circle to develop independent techniques based on their individual needs and interests.
In our extended-family community model, we learn in a mutually supportive group environment called a penseh, completing stonework and personal growth while sharing the process of reconnecting.
The SpiralDancing Community offers a way of teaching, learning, and inquiry that enables you to remember, strengthen, and share your innate gifts ... and reaffirm your deep commitment to reconnecting with your truth. Meeting once a month with their Mentor, you engage your penseh and personal work intensively, with support from Maria and members of the Yraceburu Family, in the nurturing needed to engage remembrance. This is all about remembering what is already there, but forgotten.
While this may look like you're undertaking a university degree program in the beginning, this is a community where we engage in life concepts, learning to see through a more Earth perspective. Our materials are grounded on indigenous principles from all over the world, and we honor that what is put forth is what has been given to the Yraceburu family to share as a cross-traditional union of choice. Maria will go on to explain how she will often share things she learned from a Hawaiian Aunty, a Tlinglit Uncle… and so forth… but how she interprets everything through her tlish diyan foundation given to her by her Apache Grandpa… and so this is how she explains the main and the common of Earth.
If this is what you are seeking… welcome!
