Student Teacher
Following the traditional tlish diyan procession of roles within a ceremonial structure, the Student Teacher level of Apprenticeship is a unique and vital offering as more and more Westerners seek traditional EarthWisdom. The Student Teacher is a Clan - studygroup - leader, who understands the psycho-spiritual process of working through the Medicine Wheel and can guide a students through the hero’s journey of haquini – self empowerment - work. This program is the result of many years of hands-on wok with Maria, and healing experience, the lessons learned from individual and group work of running a ceremony translated for Westerners, and the input of a highly cohesive community.
Student Teachers will work closely with our shima and other Clan Leaders in circle first in observation and then in a supervisory fashion, where the Student Teachers begin to learn the relational and psycho-spiritual skills of charting energies. Working in this program will provide Student Teachers with the confidence to “hold” others in medicine wheel processes, a deeper connection with the sacred Changing Mother Earth and knowledge of healing experiences/benefits associated with them, as well as the priceless experience in the fascinating an old-style eco-psychology and spirituality. This level of study is for healers, counselors, and priests interested in gaining new skills to add to their practices. |
