tlish diyan AT taanaashkaada

Where the tradition was born

The ways of my tlish diyan massage ceremony is through Maria's family and Grandfather Ten Bears – learning the healing ways of the Yraceburu Family, I was placed in reception of my own lineage… that of the Rom Gypsy.  Between the information I received from both, I developed the next generation of healing art in 1994, offering you one of the most authentic experiences available anywhere in the world.

Each session is gliding steps on the wind, in a setting that breathes the very essence of this sacred practice.

mind and spirit, an uplifting experience"

WHAT IS tlish diyan?

Snake Energy/Medicine
in Apache

tlish diyan— which translates simply as “snake medicine” in Apache — is an ancient and powerful form of healing known. It has been perpetuated nearly 5,000 years by members of the tlish diyan and redefined in the last few years as I developed my art as chovani… rom for healer.

More than a massage, it is a holistic philosophy rooted in the concept of harmonic energies — the belief that the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual are not separate, but one.

At the heart of tlish diyan is a principle drawn from chajala naaisha ashne ate, the ancient belief: that healing can be complete, and everything identifies as love. This belief shapes every aspect of the session. I enter with what Maria's family calls the k'e — a deep, focused presence of balanced neutrality — so that what passes through you, is not merely technique, but a genuine exchange of healing energy.

WHAT MAKES tlish diyan DIFFERENT

Unlike anything
you've experienced

Okay, so I trained in massage after some time in the medical field.  When I met my partner Maria, I was certified in several modalities and had studied Jin Shin Jyutsu as a second generation student of Mary Burmeister, the master.  I hadn't really been working with Maria for very long before she handed me a bunch of charts, and said, "Here.  Grandpa gave me this stuff, but the role of Healer was never my forte.  Maybe these will help you."

With some guidance in translations, and concepts of energy shifting from Maria, I was able to decipher… gates, lines, transmutational co-creation… with the real star of the session… Tzegojuni… my snake.

I could try to explain what happens when a crystal grid is set up under my massage table, with stones specific to you and no one else… and then the hide of my snake is placed ever so gently down your spine.

Many have describe the sensation as a type of "merger", and it seemed like they had absorbed my guide for the duration of the ceremony.  Upon returning we have had amazing results - cancer in remission, hemmoraging ceased and more.

STRICTLY FOR THOSE I CARE ABOUT

I'm only offering these sessions
to those my loved ones refer

My tlish diyan sessions these days, are offered only to those who understand and honor the tradition behind this practice. I begin ceremony as soon as you reserve the time by tracking your crystal grid.

Sessions are only held at our house.  Wednesday & Sunday afternoons from 2-4 pm.  Our place is in the Cascade Shores area of Nevada City, a tree house in the pine.  This land of the Nisenan, lends support as we invite ancestors and descendants to create an experience that is something truly unforgettable.

The sound of the windchimes, the warmth of my office, the hawk on the breeze — it’s the environmental sacredness tlish diyan was always meant to be experienced in.
