Living Close to the Land
For us, being able to rise and greet the sun each morning with pollen, and walk the land is confirmation of the beauty of our work. When I (Maria) was struck by lightning in 2004, my elders worked to convience me that it was time to "live on a mountain and let the people come to to me." I admit, I struggled with that. And now that I'm 67, both Linda and I have come to understand, it's not about being anti social or anything like that, it's about maintaining a space of magic as Guardians… akicita'ni… so that landscapes like the Yraceburu Ranch can continue to exist for you to experience, celebrate, and give thanks for your connection to the sacred Changing Mother Earth… esonkñhsendehí. We hold space and maintain the container called home!
KNOW BEFORE YOU COME
The grandeur of the Ranch is reflected in the late afternoon highlight of our Guardian Rock. The peak is sacred to us, and the West GateKeeper, tauzaza, and we believe there are ancestral caves up there. But to enjoy this, and other features at the ranch, we advise some tips before coming, just so you know.

Land of Transformation!
The serene nature of the Yraceburu Ranch is enhanced by the relationships created between nature and human. According to our Pinto Pony Sa'chi, the transformation begins with meeting the Helping Hooves Herd. When this task is completed, you can visit other areas of the Ranch, so that you can forever look and feel the Mother near.

The Butterfly Garden
When the winds blow in from the Santa Anas, we often are amazed at how the Monarchs always seem to find their way home, but they do, and we protect them, and provide for them. When the time comes for the season of Monarchs (May 1 - October 1) closes, we gather and celebrate the future of their return.

Realm of the Little Ones
Light cascades through the treetops at Aunty Kalei's Memorial Garden, homeland to the dolee'atee branch of Little Ones. Around the Spring Equinox. we gather annually for water ceremonies and connect to our second home, the 'aina of the Big Island of Hawaii, and Miracle, the 100 year old banyon tree.

Tashiña's Lush Domain
Caves along the creek flow into spiraling megalith stones, located in the Fairy Grotto, and sacred to tlish diyan prophecy story, breathe ground fog and prompt visitors to inquire about the resident Dragon. Our community fire pit is located on the sandbar, and in alignment with fire safety, this is where we meet to perform Rites of Passage.
