To know it, is to love it, is to be healthy! Get in touch with your body's needs and cycles and you can be free of stress, illness and disease. In the meantime, here's some helpful tips for this month.
We are busy in this time. Many are facing the obstacles in becoming all they can be, and come for advice on how to overcome these hiccups in evolution. It is a time of thirst for greater understanding and eager minds.
This is the time of the Winds of Change and it is handy to have wisdom of the atmospheric cycles.
Headaches - There are three common headaches.
These illnesses are the Sacred Parents telling you to take a personal time out. You have basically run your physical temple into the ground. Do yourself, your family and your community at large a big favor, stay home and take care of yourself. This is one lesson that should not be passed around.

- Sickness... stress, exhaustion, hormone imbalance... a byproduct of self-criticism. A hotbath with a cold compress on the back of the neck along with a cup of hot peppermint tea.
- Indigestion... invalidation of self? have you eaten something you may have an allergy to or might raise your blood pressure? take some hops, valerian and willow, and change your eating habits.
- Migraine... bet you thought the sickness headache was a migraine, huh? Well, this goes beyond the sickness headache. Photo and audio sensitivity are prevalent. Do all of the above, plus put some herbal liniment on the back of your neck, and forehead. Lay down and try to sleep and stop resisting Spirit's attempt to get your attention.

- Cough - there are two types of cough
- Dry, deep chest cough that needs to come out - throw a handful of eucalyptus leaves in a gallon of water with one sliced lemon. Bring to boil then steam with a towel the old fashioned way. This will make you cough. It's also good to keep on the stove simmering to help the general air quality during winter months when the house is normally kept shut tight (please try to have a small window open if possible to circulate the energy and air).
- Muscous in back of throw that needs to break down, and give the tickle a rest - we advise Grandpa's Poison for this as it is the most effective thing we've ever found. 1 part honey, 1 part apple cider vinegar, and 1 part lemon juice. Drink in mouthful doses as needed. Because of the acidity, some may need to eat something with it.
- Muscle aches & Pains -
- Detox Bath - hurt is an emotion stored in the cells of the body. This bath helps release those toxins, and seals the etheric webbing for overall healing. 1 lb. salt (rock, Epson, sea - no ground) and 1 lb. baking soda to water as hot as you can stand it. Sit in it for 20 minutes, or until the water becomes tepid.
- Water - drink your entire weight in pounds in ounces of water a day. That's right PER DAY! You need to flush this stuff. It's your choice how hard you make this time out.
- Herbal - White Willow Bark, White Oak Bark, Arnica... all of these can be used individually for pain that accompanies fevers and colds. White Willow Bark is the source of Aspirin!
- Relaxation & Judgment - sit back and watch movies, read a book, or sleep. Release the judgment that you need to be running around doing anything. The longer it takes you to reach this point, the longer you will feel yucky.
- Earache - whatever the cause, a hot compress over the ear and neck will automatically relieve pain. A little bit of lobelia mixed with warm almond oil makes a good drop for little ones experiencing difficulties. Keep in mind that chronic earaches mean ear candling.
- Eye - most eye problems, believe it or not, stem from a food allergy. Be sure to sleep with an open window so you are getting fresh air. Do a complete herbal detox. Cucumber juice relieves itching and swelling. A soft wet pack of witch hazel tea is quite soothing, as is fennel.
